#13 Gerrard

Gerrard is a basic talented soccer player, what i mean by basic is that he is not the freestyles in the field or the fast runner, or the one who did all the tricks for the fans to enjoy, Gerrard playes soccer really well but, with no other talent just regular soccer. he is a very talented loyal player to his team. Steven Gerrard was born in a middle class normal working family, he was a Liverpool fan since he was born, at the age of 9 years old he was noticed by people at Liverpool academy, and sign him up, a 9 year old kid playing in Liverpool, the little league, he also tried to sign up with other teams in England but was rejected so his only hope was Liverpool. he was offered an offer from Chelsea, and didn't reject it, he was thinking about it, and after his team players hear the offer they started playing poorly in games leading the team to go down in points in the league, fans were going crazy didn't want him to leave, when he saw everyone wanted him, he told everyone that Liverpool is his only team. Gerrard is still playing in Liverpool after a long time and had lead the team to a lot of champions and winnings.

#1 About Me

Hello, my name is Abdullah Alsobaihi, I am from Saudi Arabia I came to Kansas in 2011, I was at KU for 2 Years and I didn't really like the large class rooms and large campus and I heard about Washburn and I transfer in 2013. I live in Lawrence and come to Washburn everyday for school i really like Washburn because of how small it is and small class rooms, and the cost of it.. I love soccer I play it almost every day indoor and outdoor, I watch all soccer games male and female, I even watch teams play that I don't support, I just enjoy watching soccer. My major is Mass media Public Relations I just transferred  to this major this semester I changed my major a couple of time and I took classes in my old major and I wanted to change so I picked the closest majored to my old major, and it happened to be public relation.

#9 one of my favorite players

Thierry Henry is my favorite soccer player, I have a specific type of soccer players that I enjoy to watch, for example Henry is a legend he plays as a forward and the thing I enjoy about this player is he is energetic with good athleticism and respectful he plays clean and most importantly is that when he plays soccer you don't expect what will he do or how will he score he and I copy his style of playing skills I just enjoy him very much. Thierry Henry is from France he plays for the France national team, he is a striker, he was born on August 17 1977. when I first noticed Henry he was playing in England Arsenal team, but I support Barcelona I use to enjoy watching Arsenal play just to see him playing he spent 8 years at Arsenal he made his name a world class player and became and still remains the all time arsenal top scorer , he was named the player of the year twice , and the footballer of the year three times. the last two seasons in Arsenal Henry spent them as there captain leading them to the 2006 UEFA champions league final. In 2007 he moved to F.C. Barcelona it was the greatest thing that ever happened, he transferred there worth 24 million Euros, and he accomplished so much with them winning the champions league and more. In 2013 Henry transferred to the New York Red-Bulls, then one day they came to play against Sporting KC in Kansas, and I went there and met Thierry Henry it was a dream came true.

#6 Ibrahimovic

6.5 Swedish soccer player zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the craziest players I have seen he has scored a lot of incredible goals, he is a real finisher, his idol in soccer was the Brazilian forward Ronaldo one of the best strikers ever. Ibrahimovic is good at playing anywhere in front as a forward, but he mainly plays as a striker or as a creative forward this position allows him to score and make assists to his team. he moved to so many clubs I have never seen a famous player do, first he started in Malmo FF then he moved to Ajax and that's when he made a lot of people notice him, then he moved to Juventus, then Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, finally he is playing at Manchester United that he just moved to, so many teams but he is a great striker with a really strong foot some goal keepers fear Ibrahimovic a lot.

#8 one of the greatest football matches

one of the greatest football matches #8

I was about 15 years old this was maybe 8 or 9 years ago i dont really remember it exactly, but i remember me and my cousin would get together and watch every soccer game, we would watch the good teams play in England, Spain, Italy Germany, Saudi and a lot that i dont remember right now but we would get together one time at my house then the next time at his house. each one of us supports one team but we love soccer so much that we would watch the whole league and support other teams to win so they could play with the teams we really support. there is a league that called the Champion league every soccer lover knows about it and must watches it, it brings all the best teams in Europe and the compete together, and they would put maybe 4 teams in a group and who ever gets more points wins from these four teams then they take the winners and put them in smaller group etc, till there are tow teams remaining and who ever wins get the Champion league cup. there were two teams playing that day Manchester United VS Roma, Manchester is from England and Roma is from Italy so i wanted Manchester to win and he wanted Roma to win the game was one of the most beautiful and entertaining games i had ever seen in my life, Manchester won 7-1 it was crazy i couldn't sleep that night i kept thinking of the game the whole night it was amazing

#3 Messi VS Maradona

a lot of people compare Messi and Maradona in how many goals each one scored and what there accomplishments, they are much alike in there style of playing, and they both are from Argentina comparing them to each other in the national team, Messi outscored Maradona. Messi played 103 games with Argentina and scored 46 goals on the other hand Maradona played 91 games with Argentina and scored 34 goals, in there teams that they play in Messi has played 482 games and scored 412 goals, Maradona played 588 games and scored 312 goals. Messi has won league 7 titles and Maradona 3. Messi has won the worlds footballer 4 times and he has a chance of winning the 5th one and Maradona only won it once. Maradona is a legend but  they both played in different times, and comparing them on what they accomplished Messi is better.

#7 Sporting KC

I always watch Sporting KC play on TV and enjoy how they play its a different experience then what I see and how our teams back home play, every country has its ways of doing things even playing soccer. a lot of people would think and say they all play the same but if you know about soccer you see the differences between them what they do how they play in the United states is different back home, one of my friends watches the games with me sometime and some time we do it alone but one day he asked me if I wanted to go watch a game some day and I was like yes I want to, so one day we booked our tickets and went to the game it was so fun. I had a new experience of  what Kansas does in the stadiums how they get us to our seats and the beverages they serve us there and mostly what I enjoyed is the cowed, they were energetic and loud and the stadium was amazing I really enjoyed it a lot and would go again someday.

#2 Two of the best players

in my opinion and a lot of soccer fans say that the best soccer players in the world are Messi and Ronaldo, I enjoy watching them both play even though they are against each other and there fans too, but I don't care about all that all I care about is how they play and what they do in a game, I personally like Messi but I also enjoy  Ronaldo's style of  playing. Messi is from Argentina and is married and has a kid, Ronaldo is fro Portugal  has a kid from a model that use to be his girlfriend but no anymore, in my opinion Ronaldo looks at him self as the greatest player in the world on the other side Messi thinks he is too, but what makes them different is not the way they think but in the way FIFA sees them. FIFA says that Messi and Ronaldo are two of the best players in the world. what makes them the best players in the world is what they accomplish in a game they are skilled and really good stickers, a lot of defiance players say that when they are head to head with any of these two they say that they get really nervous and a little scared about what they hear and see about them in games, obviously Messi got more meddles and cups then Ronaldo, so what ever fans say, or what I say doesn't matter, what matters is the FIFA sees Messi greater then Ronaldo.
